Coach Rodriguez

Coach Rodriguez has a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from The University of North Texas and is an RISD PE teacher with more than 10 years of experience. He coached boys soccer at JJ Pearce High School. He has coached all levels of youth athletes; elementary, middle school and high school at various skill levels.

Coach Rodriguez played Classic 1 youth soccer growing up in Dallas, TX. His experience gives him a unique perspective and approach when it comes to athletic training. He not only knows what the coaches are looking for when it comes to making the team, but he knows how to improve an athlete’s weaknesses resulting in overall better fitness, injury prevention, and self-confidence mastery. 

Helping kids gain self confidence and develop into the best version of themselves is his primary objective.

Self confidence is rooted in trusting yourself. The more you practice something, the more trust you build in yourself and the more confident you become. Trying new things can be intimidating, but in the Legacy Lab, it gives you the time and space to try, practice, fail, experiement, and succeed.

What ages do you train?

Intermediate Elementary (3rd graders) – High School. 8 – 18 years old. Boys and girls. 

Location: Where do you train?

Trainings are primarily offered in the Legacy Lab located near UTD in Richardson, TX.

1:1 training locations will be determined upon request.

How much does it cost?

1:1 Personal Trainings start at $85 / session

Small Group Trainings start at $140/month

Soccer Clinics start at $40/clinic

What if my Athlete is not a soccer player? Can you still train them?

Yes! Because of my experience and area of study, I am trained to coach athletes in any sports discipline. Functional movements, speed, agility, coordination and balance are all areas of training that translate to any sport. I recommend 1:1 personal training sessions for non-soccer athletes so the program is catered to their sport. 

What is your Training Style?
We focus on Self-Confidence Mastery, Technical Development and Consistency. Through training with game-like drills and repetition, your child will become a standout player. Our goal is to help your child TRANSFORM their self-confidence to play the game with ease. We teach players to take self-responsibility on their own by teaching them to be consistent in their commitments.
